'A regular octahedron is a Platonic solid composed of eight equilateral triangles, four of which meet at each vertex.' Well... according to the oracle that is wikipedia.
However the octahedron in question is also an album by The Mars Volta! Now it's rare I bump into a band which likes long words as much as I do. Nor is it common to find a band which blurs the line between being a genius and a madman so much.
Anyways personal opinions aside. These Mexico based musos have been blowing my mind for while now. Check them out:
