In Random Perception we're all pretty into our alternative rock. So you can guess between us and our friends we listen to quite alot of it.
Anyways here is a band well worth writing about... Modest Mouse. They aren't the most normal sounding band to listen to but definately worth getting into with their clever lyrics and music arrangements. In particular this song and video struck me.

On their blog they say that:
'Proceeds from iTunes video downloads in the first month of release will go toward Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization committed to ending the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world's oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.'
Personally I really like it as I'm a vegetarian and find the role reversal in the video very stricking indeed...Whilst being a bit weirded out by the cartoon style.
